Limelight exists to give classical musicians an opportunity to perform live and music-lovers the chance to experience live music in a different environment and a new format.
Limelight events are based in the amazing new music space at North West Music Academy, 125 Ramsden Square in the centre of Barrow-in-Furness. If you would like to share a piece of music or try out a piece before your exam or audition, it's really easy to secure a spot in the schedule.
If your music requires piano accompaniment and you don’t have your own accompanist, just bring the piano part for our in-house accompanist to play.
Our events guarantee variety - perfect for an audience of mixed age and experience. Performers are encouraged to give a spoken introduction to their music.
